Technical information for Speakers, Presenters

Dear Authors,
We would like to provide you with information form the technical provider for the ISC'6 Conference (RentIT) taking place between 26-29 September 2021.
In case you will participate live at the venue we would like to kindly ask you the following:
Please make sure that you arrive at least 30-60 minutes prior to your session start time to make sure you have enough time to prepare.
In case you will use a presentation, kindly send it to us in advance via email no later than 1 day prior to the event (email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). If the file is too big to send as an attachment please use file transfer. The required format is PPTX with a 16:9 aspect ratio. If you have any videos embedded in your presentation please send those as well separately in mp4 format.
In case you are not able to send the presentation in advance, you can give it to our technical team at the venue on a USB stick, however in this case it is extremely important that you arrive at the venue early.
We also recommend avoiding a striped blouse or shirt since the event will be live-streamed online and may negatively affect the quality of the image.

Parking:
Participants with accommodation at Novotel Budapest City (conference hotel) can use the hotel parking lot ,which can be reached from the Alkotás street.
Participants without Novotel accommodation can use the parking lot of the Budapest Convention Centre (conference site) Please use the first barrier from the Bach junction (csomópont)
Parking in both cases is possible for a fee .
In case you would like to pre-record your speech we would like to kindly ask you the following:
Please send us your pre-recorded speech / presentation in an email (email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) in mp4 format. If the file is too big to send as an attachment please use file transfer. The deadline for submission is 17 September 2021
We recommend using Zoom for the recording as it will allow you to record your presentation and narration with a webcam at the same time. All you need to do is download the Zoom application to your computer and register if you do not have an account yet.

Conference reschedule for 26-29 September, 2021
Dear Colleagues,
We have actively monitored developments of the pandemic and recommendations of the Hungarian government. After having consultation with the authorities and healthcare professionals and considering the tasks of TC102, a decision has been made to postpone the ISC’6 again.
The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the new date of ISC’6 is September 26-29, 2021.
We believe that vaccines will be help and international travel will be possible for later of 2021.
This conference is really important for us that will serve as great opportunity to all of us to meet again, and have a successful meetings.
We are looking forward to see you in Budapest.

ISC'6 Paper presentation information
Dear Authors,
Recently we have sent an email to all eligable authors who have accepted papers at the conferece (full list can be found here), notifying them of their papers being selected for presentation. If you did not receive such an email, please check your spam folder, you might have missed it. Selected papers will be presented in their respective sessions, the length of the presentation is 8 minutes.
Budapest is open again and hosts multiple significant international events, such as the football European Championship games in June, the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress and “One With Nature” exhibition in September. We are also looking forward to seeing you here on ISC’6. Please be informed that there are still a few rooms available in the Novotel Budapest City Hotel. If you have not reserved yet, we suggest you do it now and take the privilege to stay in the hotel hosting the congress venue!

Additional paper submission possibility
Dear Colleagues,
The Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that Prof. Schnaid, who will deliver the Mitchell Lecture at ISC'6 has agreed to have his lecture published before the conference on our website. We believe this paper gives everyone a preview of the high technical quality of ISC’6.
Although the exact date of the conference will be announced in one or two weeks, the important dates were already updated.
- December 15, 2020: Draft paper submission deadline
- January 12, 2021: Draft paper acceptance notification
- February 5, 2021: Final paper submission deadline
Please note that we have a tight schedule, so keeping the deadlines is very important and highly appreciated! Also we would like ask the Authors who has the review already to submit the final paper by January 15.
